In 2013 EcoSystems invited students from the Wings Learning Center for Autistic Children in Redwood City to tend the gardens around the EcoSystems offices and campus. Founder Jason Hamon taught them how to tend and take care of the plants. The daily interaction with the garden was transformative for the students and for the gardens as well. The garden thrived, the children thrived and all bore witness to the profound and transformative connection between humans and the world of plants.
